You do not need another stack of business cards. You need a few real conversations with investors, lenders, contractors, wholesalers, landlords, and agents who understand the work.

Power Hour is the middle block of Wednesday at the FIRE Center.
The Deal Room ends at 5 PM. Dinner comes out, people move around, and the room has an hour to talk before FOCUS begins at 6 PM.
No forced networking. Just real estate conversations with people in the work.
Some people are trying to put together their first deal. Others own rentals, flip houses, lend on real estate, manage construction, find off-market properties, or help buyers and sellers as agents.
The whole Wednesday evening typically draws 40 to 60 people. That count covers all three blocks, not Power Hour alone.
Walking into a room where everyone seems to know each other can be uncomfortable.
First-time guests receive a little green dot on their name tag. It tells regulars that you are new and gives them a reason to introduce themselves.
You do not need a pitch.
Tell someone what part of real estate you are interested in, what market you are watching, or what you are trying to figure out. That gives the conversation somewhere real to go.
Dinner is included for members and first-time guests.
Power Hour brings different parts of the real estate business into the same room.
You may meet someone who owns rental properties, flips houses, works with mobile homes, funds real estate, handles construction, wholesales properties, or works as an agent.
That mix matters because one person rarely has every answer or every skill a deal requires.
“I have met so many people that are so helpful and willing to teach you. If they don't know your question(s), they will refer you to someone that does.”
“their goal is to help new people.”
You do not need a rehearsed introduction. Ask a question that gets past job titles.
The room already uses conversation starters like:
Specific questions give people something useful to answer.
Ask what someone is working on. Listen. If they mention something connected to your experience or current problem, keep going.
A few good conversations are more useful than trying to meet everyone in the room.
Power Hour is the only Wednesday block that is not available on Zoom.
Dinner, introductions, and conversations happen in person at the FIRE Center, 1660 Chicago Ave STE M2, Riverside, CA 92507.
Doors open at 3:45 PM.
The Deal Room runs from 4 to 5 PM. Power Hour runs from 5 to 6 PM. FOCUS runs from 6 to 7 PM.
Come for one or stay for all three.
Special events sometimes include hosted speed networking. People sit in groups of about five for short rounds, then rotate to another table. This format is used for select events and is not the normal weekly Power Hour.
Upcoming special events are listed on the events page.
