About the FIRE Center

We started this because the room was missing.

There are plenty of investing podcasts, courses, and gurus. There weren't many rooms in the Inland Empire where investors actually sat down together and did the work. So Rich Rice and his team built one.

What the FIRE Center is.

The FIRE Center is a real-estate investing community in Riverside, California, founded by Rich Rice in 2023. We meet in person every Wednesday at 1660 Chicago Ave. Members bring live deals, work through the numbers together, and leave with introductions to the lenders, contractors, and operators who can move them forward.

We're not selling hype, and we're not running a coaching funnel. We're running a room. The work happens at the table.

Why it exists.

Most real-estate education is sold by people who haven't done a deal recently. Most local meetups are pitch-fests. Most online communities are theory in a comment thread. The FIRE Center is the inverse of all three: local, in-person, deal-focused, and run by people who are still buying, flipping, and holding property in the same market the members are working in.

If you've ever paid for a course that taught you nothing you couldn't have gotten from a free podcast, you already know the gap this room is trying to close.

The four things we actually do.

The Wednesday Room Three hours, three blocks, every week. Deal Room from 3:30 – 5. Dinner and networking from 5 – 6. FOCUS education from 6 – 7:30. The same room, the same people, the same time, every week. Consistency is the product.
Working answers, not generic ones Members get direct feedback from Rich and the rest of the team when a deal hits a wall. The FIRE AI assistant handles the kind of questions you'd otherwise burn a forum post on — comps, ARV estimates, deal structuring sanity checks — so the human time goes to the questions that actually need a human.
Training built from deals we've done On-demand video library of past sessions, deal walkthroughs, and skill blocks (creative finance, flips, rentals, structuring offers). No bought-in curriculum. Everything in the library came from work the community actually did.
Tools that match how the work is actually done Deal calculators. Offer scripts. Underwriting spreadsheets. Templates for the contracts and conversations members run every week. Built for this market, by people working in it.

About Rich Rice.

Rich Rice

Rich is an active real-estate investor based in Riverside, California. His own work runs across flips, rentals, and creative-finance acquisitions in the Inland Empire and the surrounding Southern California markets — the same market the members are working in. He's done enough deals, and watched enough other people's deals, to know the difference between investors who teach and investors who do. The FIRE Center is built on that line.

Rich founded the FIRE Center in 2023 because the local investor scene needed a real room more than it needed another podcast. He runs the Wednesday meetings, leads the FOCUS sessions when the topic calls for it, and is in the room with members working through their deals — not just on a stage talking about his.

What to do next.

If you've read this far and any of it sounds like the room you've been looking for, the easiest move is to come see one. The first Wednesday is on us. No card on file, no signup, no pitch from the front.
